Today I remembered a series of events that I witnessed back in 1889. At that time I owned a small bakery in a side street near the Guadalquivir. Each day tens of people came to me, attracted by the smell of the new bake. The look on their faces was worthless, trying hardly to hold the hot sugar-coated bread without getting burned, yet their eyes were smiling like the eyes of a child who had just found a sack full of hard candy.
February came, and with it came the first signs of a near spring. on those days I started noticing them, like two deers they passed in front of my store, holding each others hand, entwining their fingers as if trying to connect their souls in the closest possible way.trying to save this moment forever, their eyes never lost contact. walking like one mass that you would only distinguish them by the purple of her dress and the blue of his jacket. they walked further into the street, and after a while the guy came back alone with that look on his face, the look of feeling complete.
They came to the street every couple of days, with the same pattern. till someday curiosity won over me and I decided to follow them, who said curiosity is a nature of humans only !. I walked behind them, watched them flowing like the Guadalquivir, not caring for the piercing eyes of the people watching them as if they wanted to live that moment along with their souls. They walked till they reached the river bank. She rested her head over his shoulder and they stood their for a while. just watching the water flowing, carrying boats to where it wills. some minutes later they walked again. till they reached a big white building with a stone fence, at which they separated sadly. the girl just walked to the gate, turning at the last step to give him a smile, then continued her way through the gate. He stood for a while staring at the closed gate, then made his way back to the main street.
Weeks passed and none of them passed in front of my store again. I blamed myself thinking I might have somehow disturbed the flowing of their souls, then I shook the idea out of my head. It was in May that I saw him again. This time he was walking alone, I followed him as he walked into the street. He kept looking at his side, Realizing that nobody was there he looked down as his feet and so on, till he reached that spot near the river. As he stood there in silent I tried to log into his brain. all I could see there was a man with a scattered soul. a man who once felt complete.

Cairo, Egypt - March 8th 2009 A.D.
The idea of publishing my diaries on the web has been on my mind for quite sometime now, but maybe it was the fear of uncovering my true identity that's been keeping me. till just today when I realized that in these ages where miracles are long forgotten nobody would really believe that I, the person who lived among you as either a friend, a brother, or even a lover is not really from "around here" ..
I was born here on earth hundreds of years ago, lived a while in nearly everywhere on this planet. I never felt it's my home though. long nights I spent staring at that spot in the sky where my home's sun used to be, knowing it's only a sourceless light traveling all the way only to show its tongue to me reminding me that I'm literally homeless...
damn I forgot this is supposed to be a diary ! well let me introduce myself first . as my ID says, my name is Islam Taha , a 19 years old guy who you can't notice anything different about him except for how fast he talks. I've been taking this character for about 6 years now, I wish I can leave it right now. but I did the same mistake I do every time . I got attached to humans around me.
aah I think I need some food from my nuclear plant .. anyway that's a long story I will write about later cuz hunger is killing me !
